Introduction

These contemplations, are in no sense religious. There is no mention of any god and there are no prayers. You can practice them without compromising your personal faith (or lack of faith).

They are merely opportunities to experience reality deeply. I hope that ultimately they will help to decrease your suffering and increase your happiness.

I offer these watery contemplations as a complement to, rather than as a substitute for, a mindfulness meditation practice based on terra firma.
